Applied Research Mentors

During the GINGER Fellowship, each fellow applies what they’re learning to real-life, active genetics studies - with hands-on, long-term support from an experienced geneticist or psychiatrist - depending on their interests.

Studies launch during the fellowship period and end in publication, earning our Fellows senior researcher credits. Mentors come from our partner institutions, the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and more. And after graduation, some Fellows continue to serve as mentors themselves.
