Aarón is a PhD student in the Biostatistics department at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He is focused on semi- supervised statistical methods to find optimal dynamic treatment regimes, using electronic health records data. Prior to the PhD Aarón worked in Evercore, a Private Equity Fund, and in Mexico’s Central Bank. Aarón holds a Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics, and in Economics from the National Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM). He has been involved in educational projects as an instructor in Clubes de Ciencia Mexico, a nonprofit organization that aims to increase access to high-quality science education in Latin America, and as an instructor in the Data Science in Action course provided by Harvard in summer 2019.
