GINGER Graduation Workshop – May 2024

The GINGER Program celebrated the graduation of its second cohort of Fellows with a three-day workshop held in Tulbagh, South Africa, from May 27–29, 2024.

The workshop centered on advancing Fellows’ research and leadership development. Sessions highlighted ongoing analyses using NeuroGAP study data, discussions on data access and sharing protocols, and practical modules on budgeting, grant development, and project management. Fellows also took part in interactive training on negotiation and adaptive leadership, aimed at strengthening skills essential for leading collaborative, cross-institutional research.

To close the event, Fellows and GINGER team members celebrated their accomplishments with a ziplining excursion through the Tulbagh hills, marking both the conclusion of the workshop and the successful completion of the GINGER Fellowship.
