GINGER On-Site Training in Kampala, Uganda – November 2021

From November 15-19 2021, the GINGER Program was fortunate to be able to host its first in-person training workshop with the Cohort II Research Fellows, as well as three of our Senior Fellows from Cohort I, at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. The main focus of the training was Cloud Computing, led by Drs. Lori Chibnik, Alicia Martin, and Konrad Karczewski. In addition, the Principal Investigators of the NeuroGAP-Psychosis research study hosted a meeting to give updates on the progress of the study and to have a discussion with the Research Fellows regarding their research interests. It was wonderful having everyone together in person and we look forward to building on the progress made at the next training workshop!
