GINGER On-site Training in Addis Ababa – November 2022

through Saturday, November 19, GINGER held a Scientific Writing Workshop in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry at Addis Ababa University in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

This five-day course consisted of scientific writing lectures, applied writing sessions and information on the publication process. The training was led by Dr. Carol Featherstone from Life Science Editors along with GINGER Principal Investigator Dr. Lori Chibnik. The GINGER Research Fellows utilized time during the workshop to complete group writing on current publications in process.

Outside of training hours, the group partook in recreational activities, such as a trip to Unity Park and group dinners.
